Last week I purchased a new Motorola ROKR E1 mobile phone and spent a few days enjoying it's iTunes application. Today something terrible happened: I tried to launch the games that came with it, they failed to launch and then iTunes was missing from the phone! Selecting iTunes does nothing. Except for the games, everything else is still working in the phone. I searched on Google for others with the same problem and guess what? I am not alone.

The solution offered in the forum linked above requires a PC application called P2K Tool and some files that are not supposed to be distributed. Come on Motorola, what's up with that? There is no way for a Mac user like me to re-install iTunes in the phone. I now regret buying this terrible phone. The one feature that I bought it for turns out to be a fragile Java application that gets erased. Not good enough!
