"Categories" and "StatusNotifier" Draining Battery?

Do you guys/gals out there see a noticeable decrease in battery life after installing either one or both of these applications?

I started using StatusNotifier and Categories and since then my battery life has decreased noticeably.

I have both installed and have not had any issues with battery life
