Im at university with my macbook, and Catia V5 has become available for purchase at student rates. Would I be able to run this on a macbook with either parallels or boot camp?

The university says our computers will need an OpenGL 3D graphics card or equivalent.

    Thanks.

"CATIA V5R16" is listed as one of the 3D applications that Parallels supports running under Windows. So I'm guessing it would work under Parallels. I'd recommend trying Catia with the trial version of Parallels first, and if it doesn't work then you can use Boot Camp. Catia should definitely work with Boot Camp though.

    Thanks for your help ;)

Any idea if a macbook is going to be powerful enough to run Catia with the lack of video card?

    Thanks
