Just got these in. Synthesis feels very good and sturdy in hand with the side grip dots. They almost feel like soft nail files. Has a grainy texture all around. It’s a rugged case but it’s no otter box. Still feels minimalistic. Buttons feel very tactile and clicky. No force needed to press. Good lay on table lip all around the front…Veil feels paper thin but will protect against table scratches. Zero drop protection. Smooth texture but doesn’t feel slippery. Power button can naturally be pressed easily but volume buttons they’re a bit harder to “find” and press which is expected from a thin case. Minuscule lay on table lip; screen protector recommended with this one. Out of the 2, the veil feels it has a taller camera lip which surprised me. Overall I’m very happy with both cases and they will get plenty of wear!

Synthesis is very grippy especially from the sides because of the rubber dots. Maybe too grippy if that makes sense. But in hand feels very sturdy. The Veil I’ve been wearing it since I got it in. It feels like you’re holding your bare phone but with an added paper thin layer of plastic. The camera hump kind of digs in my index finger as I’m holding it but nothing major. Nonetheless feels very good in hand and doesn’t feel as slippery as if you’re holding it naked.

Yes, those photos are great. I've also always used the Sheath but this year I think I'll go with a Synthesis as well... just waiting for a better selection of colors.
I’ve been using iPhones since the first one and been using cases since the 5s and the Synthesis is without a doubt the best I have ever used on a phone. It’s amazing how just a little texturing changes what would feel like an ordinary plastic case into a true pleasure to hold in the hands. And the ridge in the camera bump gives the case a distinctive look that is memorable without being a gimmick or over the top. The grips on the phone are so subtle and yet strike add the perfect amount of grip to make the phone feel secure in the hand without pulling out your pants pocket.
This case makes it a joy to pick up and handle my phone. Almost every other case I’ve ever had felt like an obstacle to overcome, a block between me and the phone experience I really wanted to have. Huge difference.

I agree with you 1000%. If I could own one case (as hard as that can be) it would be the synthesis hands down.
I’ve owned the sheath and been tempted in getting it again but I know I will always go back to the synthesis. I get to save my money and try another case I have my eye on.
The grip on the Synthesis is beyond better than what I thought it would be and it’s my new favorite case.
The only issue I have with it is the back is fairly easily scratchable compared to previous versions, I suppose this has something to do with the new coating/texture on the back. You can’t have everything I guess lol, still an amazing case though.

Right? It’s ridiculous strong on the sheath, not as strong on the synthesis but still very strong! 💪
For now. Apple silicone storm blue and Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 3. Currently looking for another. Have my eye on this one here https://www.zagg.com/en_us/brooklyn-snap-iphone-14-pro-max/ Sand version. Open to others it’s just hard to find ones that are not boring.
Well they are not for everyone but the simplistic design and quality attracts a minimalist like myself lol

Same here, which is the same every year. But, I agree. The Synthesis is really tempting this year. I just see no reason to get it because of how awesome the Sheath has been so far.
May i ask how is the width of the case in comparison with Magez? How bigger is it?
