Just a word of caution. Do NOT try and use any of the glass screen protectors currently available for the new iPad Pros. The touch response becomes SERIOUSLY wonky. It is so bad I thought I had a hardware issue with my brand new 11" iPad Pro.

I have tried 2 respectable brands that I have always bought on Amazon and they both behaved the same way. As an engineer of 20 years, this is enough for me to deduct that none of the current offerings are going to work, and that most likely Apple has implemented something in the touch screen that is causing this behavior. Thanks! You've tried them all? Or you tried one and expanded your results to include all of them?
The Apple store does not sell any. Which also says something.Where did you get yours? At the Apple store or somewhere else?
Are you using one on a new iPP?Where did you get yours? At the Apple store or somewhere else?
I noticed all sorts of missed touch responses myself. Inability to scroll or type.I’m from the UK and purhsed one type on Amazon
As soon as there is a greasy mark from my finger I can’t scroll the page up or down, this is the screen protectors fault
Yes, Apple has changed something in the technology of these new screens that right now makes screen protectors a no go. I suspect this is going to go viral soon. I feel very sorry for all the trusted glass screen protector manufacturers on Amazon right now. Yikes! Can confirm these issues as well. Bought some screen protectors that had very good reviews in the past for the Pro models and they are unusable. Scrolling would get really unresponsive and pinch to zoom wouldn’t work at all if the fingers were too close together.
Can you recommend one for the 11”? I just ordered one myself off Amazon. Hoping it won’t cause the issues glass does.I only use film protectors. So much easier to install and replace.
Yeah I was bummed out too. I tried two different brands and a total of three different screen protectors. They all caused touch issues.Yikes. Mine just arrived yesterday and I had planned to apply it tonight. I think I tossed the envelope out in the trash already so I can't return it. Wonder what they changed - I've been using tempered glass screen protectors for years on iPad and iPhone.
Even on my 12.9" and 9.7" Pro's I could use the Pencil just fine with a glass protector. Bummer.
Never heard of them...?I’m keeping my glass protector on until I’m able to order from Mediadevil
Having Face ID not working doesn’t bother you!? LOLI am using an iCarez matte (non-glass) screen protector and am having no issues with touch. There’s a notch in it where the front camera is but Face ID is not working. Doesn’t bother me not to have it working.
Matte screen protectors do make the display less crisp, but I have fuzzy eyesight so it doesn’t bother me like it does some people.
Spigen Glass? Post a link to it, please.I got one from Spigen. Has anyone tried that one?

maybe its the IPS technology, longer response time.Yes, Apple has changed something in the technology of these new screens that right now makes screen protectors a no go. I have the 11”. Have you tried using your iPad with it sitting flat or slightly angled like on an uneven couch? Try scrolling in like Safari and see if you don’t notice some issues.I ordered this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01ICTPTBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I’ve got it installed and all working fine (Face ID and gestures/scrolling/tapping all work fine).
Hope you find one that works for you

No idea, but whatever it is it sucks. I have noticed that it only behaves weird when sitting almost flat too. As soon as you pick the iPad up and use is vertically it seems to respond fine.maybe its the IPS technology, longer response time.
edit: and in combo with why the pencil 2 isn't backwards compatible?
