Just bought New Macbook Pro (using 10.6.2).

Qs:

1. Will Carbon Copy Cloner back-up my Windows (XP) side with the rest of my Mac? I'll be using OM Virtual Box or Parallels, not Boot Camp. Time Machine is not suitable for my purposes.

2. How do I disable Time Machine?

Thanks!!:)

1. Yes, as the VM is stored in one or several files in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Documents / Virtual Machines or somewhere similar, consult the documentation of Virtual Box for details.
But as CCC backs up the ENTIRE HDD you choose to clone, the VM, wherever it is stored, is backed up too.

2. System Preferences > Time Machine > Slider to OFF.
