Thanks for this thread. I added CCSettings since it look and feels like NCSettings for me.

Try CCControls too before you make a decision.

Thanks. I looked at the difference between the two via Youtube and I like the idea of themes in CCControls but I think I'll stick to the CCSettings simplicity.
With that said, I discovered CCQuick. It does all CCSettings do but can simulate Home Button and Kill All background Apps and also the hidden Springboards Settings. Why has that one not been mentioned? Is it unstable?

I have CCControls that came with flipswitch and I don't see an LTE toggle or a 3G toggle.

CCControls does not seem to work for me.

It appears in my settings but when i try to open that up it says some packages did not download. Re Install and again nothing.

That said i don't see any lag with CCsettings and it comes with LTE included.

Weird !

Does anyone know the answer to this? Do we still need RocketBootstrap installed?

RocketBootstrap has nothing to do with the MobileSubstrate fix Bootstrap. Unfortunate naming coincidence. RocketBootstrap allows jailbreak apps to look up system addresses that iOS 7 sandboxes. The functionality is necessary for Activator to intercept system functions like button pushes and swipes. Ryan Petrich decided to separate the functionality into a separate dylib and make it a dependency so that other tweak authors could use his library to do the same task. This way you won't have fifteen different tweaks all implementing the same basic function.

What is your Reduce Motion/ Increased Contrast set at? Do you use anything to speed up animations?

I also have a 4S and I think the animations are a little smoother.

I compared the speed with all settings stock, both with and without CCControls installed. Icon fly-in on home button press in particular was obviously slowed to a crawl, but so were other animations.

So you're saying it was slower with CCControls installed or CCSettings?

Little confused here.

Oh wow. Thanks for the great explanation. I appreciate it. :)

Sorry. CCSettings slowed my animations. CCControls is really just a front-end for FlipSwitch that also themes its icons.

You're welcome. He has a good explanation of it on Reddit, but Reddit was down for maintenance or I would have just linked you to it!

What happens if you just install flipswitch? Will that put toggle in the CC?

FlipSwitch is a support library. It handles the actual insertion and removal of the icons, but you need a front end like FlipControlPanel or CCControls. By abstracting those functions, Ryan Petrich has made it easier for others to develop tweaks for Control Center -- and made it less likely for them to conflict.

Oh cool, thanks do the lesson. :)

The lag seems to be introduced when "Increase Contrast" is off. Is yours on?

I opted to stay with ccsettings which is limited and does not have all the bells and whistles of the others but on the Flip side it simply does what I want by adding the data and lte/4g toggle.

No lag either.

CCControls is crashing my springboard when i click on the flashlight or bluetooth. its weird cuz it used to work

CCSettings now in Cydia

I think only the 4S has lag issues with increased contrast off.
