CD Issues

I just purchased a USB SuperDrive for my iMac desktop.....when I place a CD (Turbo Tax) into the drive it automatically ejects itself after about 15 seconds.....can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? Thankls

I found out the hard way that Apple USB Superdrive is only compatible with specific Apple computers. Does this Superdrive work with other media?

Please do t think this is silly.

Many folk try to play the DVD upside down on the Apple Superdrive. The Superdrive goes with the logo on top.

IF nothing works, return the Apple SuperDrive and buy a 3rd-party USB DVD/CD writer for the iMac.

It will work as well or better than the SuperDrive, and cost less, too.
