Hmmm...

For some reason, I can't get my blank CD icons to show up on the desktop. However, when I'm in iTunes, I'm able to burn a music CD (or mp3 disc - in other words, I can do anything with the blank CD through and only with iTunes)

And yes, I have my Prefs (hard discs, CDs/DVDs/and iPods/Connected Servers) checked...

At first, I thought it was the brand of CDs I was using (HP), so I returned them and picked up a pack of SONY CDs...

Someone, anyone, please help. I mean, this is not intentional, right? What ever happened to a good ol' disc icon where i can just drag stuff in it?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm obviously new here; sorry that my first post is a "help" one...
