I am continually having problems with CD-R's. I have the Apple CD writer and use Verbatim CD-R's. I can record data up to 4 times on a disk and then when I insert the disk in the writer again it immediately ejects it and ask's for a writable disk to be inserted even thought there is very little data on the disk.

Anyone else have this problem.

Not specifically that problem, but I've always found the Superdrives to be a bit wonky. I just use external USB CD/DVD/BD burners instead and have far fewer issues.

You are trying to run multi-sessions on a single CDr, is that what you're saying?

I'm wondering if you might be better off buying one or two (second for backup purposes) USB flash drives, and using them instead?

They work better for "small-volume" storage than trying to do a multi-session CD....

You would be better off not creating multisession discs and instead performing disc at once burns.
