guys,
Again a CD got stucked in my iMac, I have tried several things such as:
1. Pressing eject button at keyboard -nothing happens
2. Holding down C key at startup - nothing happens
3.Starting up into to Open Firmware (does not get into firmware)
4. Disk utility (CD does not show)
5. Itunes eject button (CD button does not show)

What else can I do, can someone please help me out?

Try rebooting and hold the eject button when the grey screen with the Apple logo on it comes up. If that doesn't work the disc can be ejected manually with a paper clip. I believe there is a little hole either at the top or bottom of the disc slot.

Good luck!

CD stuck - will not eject

Any chance you're using VMware Fusion? If so, do you have a virtual machine running and attached to the drive?

This happened to me one time..

I had a CD get stuck in my Powerbook a few years ago and ended up having to do the paperclip trick. I don't exactly remember where it was that I stuck the paperclip, but wherever it was it worked.

Reboot and hold down the mouse button as soon as you see the gray screen (it will have to be a wired mouse) - that should force eject the CD

Or if the mouse-button trick doesn't work, you could try the credit card trick. But, as another user stated, VMWare Fusion could be the 100% reason why it doesn't eject. ;)

I have the wireless Mighty Mouse, and I can do the mouse button trick at startup on my iMac (AL mid 2007). Try the mouse button trick.
