I was just curious what celebrities are known to use Apples?? And if their are pictures of celebs with their Macs?? I watch the L-Word religously, and they can't shoot a scene without an Apple Computer in it. (It's Awesome)

What show is the "L-Word?"

EDIT: You'll notice a lot, lot, lot of Apple hardware on TV. But often, you will see custom screens that were done in some Linux skin or something. It's all about the look. Of all the hardware, Apple has the look, so that's what you see on TV. It's a good life. :)

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is the actual title of the show, and the "L-word" itself is Lesbian and/or Love, and it is a show about Lesbian Love. Someone will enlighten us both I'm sure.

I'm pretty sure Tom Clancy is a Mac user as I seem to vaguely remember a quote by him I saw on here. Something about not asking someone what kind of system they have, they'll tell you if it's a Mac and if not you don't want to make a fool of them.

Don't know if it counts as true celebrity or not, but The Real World used to feature Macs as the house computers; I remember one year they had a Cube.

Other than that, I don't recall.

Drew Carey is a big Mac fan. That's why you saw them on his show. There was something I read somewhere talking about celebrities visiting the Apple Stores. Do a Google search for it, as there were some good stories (especially involving the Divas).

I remember reading Mr. Sutherland (Jack Bauer him self) uses Macs and goes into the Apple store asking 100 questions and says thank you about 10 times for each response.

Its so funny, on the show Jack Bauer is this tech savy son of a gun, whos hacking away all the time and talking about compressions and decryption and all that nonsense, when in fact Ive read so many times that hes a computer illiterate

On this side of the pond... Miserygut musicians Coldplay are all said to be fans – it was rumoured that our favourite computer company provided the inspiration when he was looking for a name for his daughter, Apple.

Douglas Adams was a big Apple fan (it's said he was the first person in the UK to buy one – how accurate that is I don't know but he was certainly a very early adopter). Stephen Fry is also another devotee.
