I drive through Alpine, NJ everyday. Pretty sure, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Tracy Morgan and some other celebs live there. Also, 15 minutes from the town they shoot NJ Housewives in but that doesn't really count, right?

I grew up in the same town that Stuttering John and Steve Guttenburg grew up in and met them both. Again, that doesn't really count, right?

I live in the next town over from Alpine, Englewood Cliffs I'm pretty sure there are a few celebrities here as well. I know Tony Bennet has a house here and, actually Eddie Murphy's house is in Englewood Cliffs, I drive by it almost every day, and I saw him in the A&P supermarket once.

Small world. I work in Englewood Cliffs. Can't believe I left that part out, since I work in the CNBC building, I see celebrities every day, but I'm sure the host of Mad Money doesn't really count as a major star.

I live a few miles from The Decemberist and about 5 miles from the secret Intel/Apple think tank .

Not only that but I happen to live in the same house as Moi'. ;)

nonsense Jim Kramer is a superstar. My wife is dying to get a job at CNBC she wants to have as short a commute as possible lol.

Do you usually manifest such hubris on a daily basis?

Anyhow, some of you are so lucky! I felt special living near Pharrell and he's not even "that" famous. Cool!

rdowns has been here a long time, and will probably be here when you are but a fond memory.

You've no idea how long I've been here. Say what you know, please.

yeah we do. it says so right under your name.

back on topic, the closest thing to celebrities I live near are a handful of Carolina Panther football players and 2 NASCAR drivers. the rest are in the banking field (former CEO of Bank of America is about a half a mile away).

Actually, that date is just for when someone joined using that screen name. Maybe he has been here for years....decades even..under a different name....like Nic Cage...

When Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson were together, they had a place near me in Michigan. I've seen them at our local Harley dealer too.

Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Celine Dion...there are others I just can't think of, but mostly athletes.

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter house share a few streets from me and LA.

Gwyneth Paltrow with husband Chris Martin, Kate Moss, Fiona Bruce, Gino D'Acampo and I've seen Simon Pegg now and then.
