Cellular carriers ignoring the new iPads?

Anyone else irritated that the big 4 (Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T) are completely ignoring the fact two new iPads were launched? Not a word about pricing, preorders, nothing. A Verizon rep actually told me there is no such thing as an iPad Mini 5! I can’t believe it.

Maybe because they haven’t gotten inventory or updated their internal database to reflect the new devices? Might take a few weeks to a month for pricing details.

I’m not surprised since Apple just quietly drop these new devices and press releases the same day.

It’s still possible they will soon update their carrier database and it may be available for preorder this Friday.

AT&T has them now i just placed my order for a Mini 5 silver 256gb due to arrive between 3/28 and 4/7

Verizon has them, as well. On mar 21st, you can order them.

On mar 22nd, from T-Mobile, you can order them.

Verizon so far seems to be the only carrier offering discounts. I placed my order last night through Verizon and the expected ship date is by April 8th. Like someone else said, it's kind of weird that the date is so far out when they just put it on their website.

It is weird. However, I am very pleased with the discount. $15 a month payment on my mini $150 off. Great price.

not have them. just know about them. as the poster said, someone at Verizon was asked about the iPad Mini 5 and the reply was "there's no such thing", when it was after the press release dropped. one would think that apple sent notice to the carriers and they would have told their staff.

then again, i work in an office where a lot of information is sent out by internal email and most staff just never bother reading the messages. so i can't say i'm shocked that this happened

FYI, with Verizon if you have an iPhone on your account and sign a 2 year contract for the mini, you will get $250 off the mini. I've had Verizon for awhile now and will continue with it, so I didn't mind the contract.

It is called the iPad mini not the iPad mini 5, so maybe that is why you were told there is no such thing.

This also works for the device payment per month too. I am only going to be paying $15 per month for the device.
