iPhone Cellular Data Switch slight Bug

Back in IOS 6.1x, Whenever I'm in an LTE are and switch my cellular data on, it immediately shows "LTE" at the top. Now when I flip the switch, It goes to 3G for 2-3 minutes before it transitions to LTE. Anyone else experience this? Seems like a bug.

No issues here, but it sounds like it is an LTE signal strength issue, not a software bug.
