Hi guys,

If I buy a cellular iPad and put my iPhone sim on it, can I receive calls on my iPhone?

Or it is just an iPhone feature that I can receive calls in my iPad?

Thanks

No because your iPad can't receive calls.

You would need another iPhone (5 or later) if you want to do that.

I see. I think there's no point in buying cellular then. Unless you need gps.

Will just use the iPhone as a hotspot connected to iPad

The iPad is sim free so you can change sims where you might get a bad reception from your iPhone carrier. Also comes in handy if you travel

Will this work on iPhone to iPhone?

Let's say I have my sim on 5s and I bought a new iPhone 6 but put no sim. Can I receive calls on my 6 also?
