I'm 51 and don't go nowhere without my ipod touch ( fav trackts at the moment are from Vampire Weekend)

Well, I'm 56 and own a mini, classic 160gb and a touch.
Technology knows no upper age limits. When people I know
want to know about the latest and greatest gadget they come
to me. BTW I just bought a new PSP slim/lite and 6 games 2 weeks ago and
I love playing video games. An ageist attitude will limit you from experiencing so many wonderful things in life when you are older.

42 - and if any whippersnapper says I'm too old for an iPod touch, they'll get a slap.

The touch goes nicely with my PSP, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii and don't forget my two iMacs, Samsung laptop and iPod Photo :p

66 here and I'm an unabashed "gadget" freak. Love the iPT. I bought the 16gig version. It holds my entire audio collection including "ripped" 33 1/3s. My Touch replaces a Palm T/X. I've used Palms for about 20 years. Now I have something that works seamlessly with iCal, Address, Mail and holds my tunes.

I dont mean to sound like an old man but I think we can all agree that there are VERY few things out there that can entertain such a wide range of years starting from the user at 16 years and going as far as 60! very few things in life can provide us with this kind of age gap. The only thing that I think can come close is maybe sex and driving! We payed 300-400 dls so we better get out entertainment out of it... I hate the fact that apple shows It's greediness but boy do they know how to build nice toys...ENJOY.

I'm 15, going to be 16 in April. A lot of kids at my school got them for Christmas, ranging from 14-18

60+ with :

4gig nano
80 gig classic
16 gig touch

Ha, I left my kids way behind. My next toy will be the 24" imac and yes I 'am a geek, one with toys.

16 here, and saw another guy with one about 17-18,( i'm in France), everyone here thinks it's an iphone:D

Ok....seems I was wrong with the age, I guess I should have thought about the average user who comes to read this site, myspace helps take away the younger one it seems :D

I'm 18 and one of my friends also has one and he's 19 both 16gb, it's the coolest iPod ever I used to have a 5G 30GB and before that a 4GB mini, the only bad thing is that there aren't many wifi spots in Chile... but then again all I really need is my house, college and starbucks...

I'm going to be 30 in a couple of months. My 57 year old dad would like to get one though. And my 17 year old brother isn't really impressed by it.

Old fart using Ipod Touch

I am 50 and bought my Touch within a week of their coming out.

I doubt I am typical of my age group as I have always been an early adopter techie. (I've had hi-def TVs for year, computers outnumber the number of people in my home by 2 to 1). And although not a twitch-junkie like some of the younger set, I can hold my own on most first person shooters.

In fact, my kids, age 16 and 10, don't even own an iPod, although they do own other lower-cost mp3 players. I just suspect that if they had one, it would be lost within the first month.

Oh yes, this was my 3rd iPod. The other two are in cars.

Old enough that I learned to read long, long before I ever saw a television set.

The first time I saw a TV was when the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was broadcast in all its [tedious....expensive] splendid, albeit black and white, display of a timeless ritual.

So... I'm as old as the hills but not quite as old as the Queen.
