As someone else mentioned and as I just remembered, if you bought an Apple device from Apple (I don’t think it works for used devices from other sources), you’ve got a year for free. With only 13 episodes, if they do one a week for 13 weeks, then you could see them all. And not pay a thing. And, if you buy a new device next year (say, this year, you got an iPhone, next year you upgrade your Mac) you continue Apple TV+ for free.
I get what you're saying and agree with you. Just wanted to pile on about Spotify signing the Joe Rogan podcast as exclusive to them. That sucks. I've never even listened to that podcast and don't plan to, but then came the story on MacRumors that as a reactionary measure to Spotify, Apple is shopping for exclusive podcasts too. So it's begun. I don't have the time or patience to keep up with where to find certain tv shows and movies. I really didn't want to add podcasts to that too.
Still, there’s no way they would have created 13 episodes by now. They MAY have created 6
Why would Apple make a show and put it on another platform?I hate that it's Apple exclusive. Thanks to this fact, I'll have to find "other" means of watching it. Exclusive media encourage these alternative methods.
For the angry emoji's, here's my fact checking references, since facts speak louder than opinions. Some refer to music, but the same can be said for all digital media.

Do what you wish.I switched out of Apple Music and went to Podcasts exclusively about 2yrs ago. If I have to start subscribing to outlets to get what I've always had for free because they're trying to gain marketshare, then I'll find other alternatives or means of getting them. The rich get richer...
Did they give Greyhound a date? It's been a good month for Apple TV +. Looking forward to Greyhound next month.
Oh, that was just a random number less than 13.But I don't know why they would only have 6 episodes ready today when they need to have episode 7 completed just 7 weeks from now.
I'm sure the episodes are staggered and are in various stages of completion over many months. But still... the time to make one episode is almost twice as long as the entire season takes to air.
I would say the entire season is done already. But I'm just speculating here.![]()
I actually much prefer 1 episode a week schedule. It gives me a time to reflect and talk about it with my friends and coworkers, without risking spoilage. Talking about Netflix original almost always start with "how far did you watch" and ends with someone saying "oh, you will soon see".
And it makes watching each episode feel more like an event and something to look forward to. It's not like there aren't other shows and movies to watch.
With smaller selection of contents, one-a-week is the right strategy for Apple TV+. With COVID-19, it will likely take longer to complete an episode from now on. So this will help creators stretch their production schedule.
The kids who pirate would never pay in the first place. Very little real revenue is lost. Roughly equivalent to the Hackintosh situation.
Not yet, but I’m assuming it’ll be the same day the theatrical release was planned, which I think was June 10?Did they give Greyhound a date?
Kind of ironic considering Central Park was created by bulldozing people’s homes and businesses in order to enhance the property values of those who lived near the park.

The problem I have is that I get into something more the more I watch it. If I’ve just watched something my interest in the next episode is at its peak and I want to watch it right now. That interest wanes over the course of the week as the memory fades and the events of the previous episode become less relevant in my mind. And it makes watching each episode feel more like an event and something to look forward to. It's not like there aren't other shows and movies to watch.
1) they mention that in the show
2) that’s not what “ironic” means
I assume they mean the premise of the show is ironic. That premise being the defenders of Central Park are portrayed as the innocents and the underdogs, whilst its enemies are the ruthless real estate investors. This being the opposite situation from the foundation of Central Park. That’s exactly what “ironic” means.Ironic how? But, also, that fact is actually mentioned in the first episode.
You can turn that around and say if they release all at once but you want to watch one a week then watch one a week.Same. Out of all the release models, I prefer the 3 episode drop followed by weekly. If you want to binge watch through the whole thing, then wait until all the episodes are released.
I don't mind it if the service is predicated on it, but with Apple TV+ we never know what show will give us all the eps at once or dole them out once a week. Pick a method and stick with it.
I love their approach of releasing 3 episodes so you get invested and then a new episode every week so you have something to look forward to. Bing watching makes the experience so fleeting. But to each his own off course.I hate this 1 episode a week release schedule.

Yes. I hope Apple moves to the three episode drop followed by weekly releases for all future shows. I HATE bingeing shows and I am still angry at Netflix for introducing that scourge on humanity. And people wonder why children these days have such short attention spans.I actually much prefer 1 episode a week schedule.
