Centrino 2 duo or the old ones

    hey ppl, are the chips in the new macbook pro's Centrino 2 duo ( montevina)???

    Centrino 2 "Montevina" refers to a chipset for the entire system, made by Intel. While the new Macbooks and Macbook Pro's use the same Core 2 Duo, Penryn processors as computers with the "Montevina" chipset, they are using a chipset that is made by nVidia instead.

    So they are using that same CPU as Centrino 2 computers, but using a different system chipset.
