Ceramic/Titanium not available for in-store pickup?

I want to order an edition model, but due to difficulties with couriers in the past, would prefer to have the model shipped to my local Apple Store.

I noticed that flagship Apple stores show the Titanium/Ceramic models available for in-store pickup, but my local Apple Store (in Calgary, Canada) shows ‘not available for pickup’.

Do you think the option to ship the Apple Watch Edition to an Apple Store will become available one the initial rollout is done?

Can you have your courier just hold it at the closest depot and pick it up from there? That’s what I do with expensive items (in the US)

I wish. UPS in Canada from Apple always requires a first attempt, and I have had a number of difficulties trying to reroute it to a pickup location. If I can avoid it I do.

well these specifically are different materials. Titanium for the first time plus ceramic with the new display.

S4 owners aren't really the audience for this
