iPhone XS Max Certain sites load slow w/ content blocker

Trying to get a recommendation for a content blocker that handles Vox media sites properly (The Verge, Polygon).

My current content blocker loads the sites without ads properly, but there’s a three second delay before it will load. Certain content blockers work fast on Vox sites, but they’re not good overall. If anyone has a suggestion would be appreciated!

I’m using AdBlock Plus on my 6s. The Verge loaded instantly just now, with no ads.
