I have been trying to get Google to load on my browsers but keep getting the "Problem loading page" message. Some other websites (to name a few) include: ESPN, YouTube, certain parts of Facebook, etc. Other pages like Yahoo, macrumors, and cichlid-forum work fine. This is what I have done so far:

- I tried to use Firefox, Safari, and Chrome and still can't get these pages to work
- reset PRAM
- reset SMC
- disabled add-ons
- disabled firewall
- disabled ipv6
- cleared cookies
- cleared cache
- deleted history
- verified/repaired disk permissions
- resetting Firefox (my main browser of choice)
- updated all my software (security updates, Java, etc.)
- cleared preferences from Firefox folder
- tried using a different user account
- checked DNS info
- ran browsers in safe mode

I have an '08 MBP (10.6.8). I can get the pages to load fine when I boot the computer in Safe Mode, any ideas?

Also, I know the internet connection is not the problem: I am sitting on my Lenovo right next to the Mac and can access everything perfectly fine.
