Hi

I updated from Sierra to High Sierra on my iMac and Mac mini, the Mini got the Server App updated to 5.4.
Ever since i did this, the Server app pops up with a request to renew my certificate for my Mac Mini server EVERY DAY, when I renew the certificate its all fine, but the day after, the request pops up again. When i look at the certificate it dosent need renewall before 2019, but it still wants a new one.

Any words?

Thanks

Thanks, I think this work, but I guess I have to wait until tomorrow to tell :)

I couldn't renew or create a new certificate for some reason, I had to "change" my AppleID to the same one, then I got the option to create a certificate.
Its kind of weird that if a certificate expires and you get an alert, if you click on this alert you will be guided to the "certificates" in your Server App settings to "resolve" the problem and renew the certificate. But you really have to do it on the AppleID option as you described

But thanks again...im sure you cracked the problem :)

Nope..still there, but I really don't need it at this time, I only use my Mac Mini as fileserver. I uninstalled Server App and filesharing works fine without it..but now I see both my shared folders AND the drives, with Server installed i only saw the shared folders, how do I hide the 2 harddrives or remove the share? The drives do not show up as shares in settings, only the folders...

UPDATE!!!

Never mind, figured it out ..my user had admin rights, changed it to "sharing only" user, all fine again
