It just seems they were one of the first ones out with inexpensive smart bulbs, and because they are a big company I expected them to get on board more quickly. I'll also say until the last firmware update the app has been a real PITA. I went months after the previous update where I constantly was resetting the devices because the app wouldn't recognize them. When they finally fixed it I had already had enough.

It is a good sign that they are wanting beta testers.

Yep. Hope they let me test some stuff!

On a positive note, I was able to get the HOME app for iOS working with WEMO using an old MacPro to serve scripts that get the devices onto HomeKit. They don't work with the WeMo Maker on my projection screen yet so I still have to use IFTTT for that but I can now say "Hey Siri, set the house to Movie Time scene" and the projector comes on, the screen comes down and all the lights go off. I have similar Siri commands set for Bed Time and for simply turning on/off a light. It's all working great and just what I wanted! Just ordered a couple WeMo switches for my main kitchen ceiling light and the outside light next to the driveway so I can have them come on when I get home and work them randomly when I'm out of town. It's all coming together! Oh, and it has an Watch app :)

I can make Siri turn my WeMo light switches off and on but I have to use IFTTT and say "Hey Siri, tell WeMo to turn on/off the kitchen light." It's a little annoying since it sends as a text and asks for confirmation before it sends, but it works until I can get true HomeKit switches.

Also, if you're at all interested I have a WeMo link and 3 bulbs and 2 of the Sylvania iQ recessed light bulbs that I need to sell.

Oh, and the Home app is pretty cool, too!
