Would love a charger with Belkin’s layout like they have done here. But it still is missing the feature that would make an immediate purchase for me: articulating arms and/or adjustable charging wafers so you can adjust the angle of the phone to an optimal viewing angle.

A more likely reason is that magsafe works only with magsafe devices, thereby limiting the market for a particular product. A magnetic charger works with any Qi device, while also permitting magnetic attachment with phones that support it.
Magsafe works perfectly fine with non MagSafe devices, I use the Apple Magsafe charger to charge my work iPhone 8 all the time.

I thinking apple must charged a premium for the magsafe licensing, so most manufacturers are forgoing this.
I would imagine it would just be rolled into the standard MFi program, and hence no additional fees.

Edit: I knew this would be the case.

Still looking for a good Magsafe stand.
All these new Magsafe stands where the phone hangs from the MagSafe magnet are just disasters waiting to happen. When is somebody going to put a MagSafe charger in an upright stand with a lip that the phone rests on, so that you can have a case on and still utilize the charger. Even a stand where the Apple magsafe can be inserted like some of the watch chargers would be fine. Without it, it's not practical and extremely frustrating

Wow ravpower came out with MagSafe charger with full 15w output with 20w charger included. Good deal. Cost $40.

Fast charging is great and all, but it just isn't a deal breaker for me. 7.5 or 10 watts is really plenty fast for me so these seem like a great option, especially since Anker is a brand I trust

I don’t get why Anker should try to license their magnetic charging stands for the 15w speeds. These docs normally live on your nightstand and are used between going to bed and waking up, so there is plenty of time to fill up your phone. If we then also take into account that slower charging speeds are way more healthy for the battery, the 7.5 seem to be a be a better solution.

It also does not make a lot of sense to use any kind of wireless charging when you are in a hurry. 20w over a cable have a lot more pace then 15w over MagSafe. From a pure technical point of view 15w wireless charging fills a gap that exists for a very good reason. Maybe there is some kind of increased comfort that has not opened up to me, but I don’t get it.
