Are ya sure the "new" 15w charger isn't just a new SKU maybe with recycled plastic? Or is it possibly an update to charge @ 25W like Apple's MagSafe charger? I have three BoostCharge Pro's that charge @ 15 watts, with kickstand and 2m cables- first one purchased March 2024.
The old ares are magsafe, not Qi2

I’m still wondering if, technically speaking, wireless charging is detrimental to battery’s health. I’ve read a lot, but mostly uninformed opinions or just feelings based on personal experience (statistically irrelevant).
I’d like to know if, under the same user scenario, using a wireless charger or a cabled one makes any difference in battery life over the time.

The wireless charging in of itself isn't, but the additional heating due to the extra losses can certainly potentially be a little more detrimental in theory.

I don't generally like these types of charging stands but I really cannot hate this one for ones desk or nightstand. It is a great way to take advantage of standby mode while charging overnight.

I like the idea but wish the cord was not attached so you could use teh stand independently, ideally like their stand the make for attachng an iPhone to a Mac display.

I'd get one but I need to know if the mag will hold through an Otterbox Defender.

If not you might could put a Magsafe ring between the Otterbox and IPhone.

Using good quality chargers (Apple or third party, but still good quality) I never experienced a substantial difference in temperature while charging, so this doesn’t really explain a difference (if any exists, which is still debatable ).

It's 2025 and I do hope a compact 65w GaN brick can include at least two USB ports just for practicality, ideally 2 Type-Cs or at least, a mix of A and C. Many people who bought it want to use it for iPhone, iPad or Watch simultaneously, and the full 65w only be used for Macbook Air charging, which will be done fewer times because of its longer lifespan.

This is what you're describing, I have several and they work well. Typically on sale via Amazon for ~$29.

The Stage PowerGrip looks like an interesting one. Plan on getting one of these to try out. Has some nice colour options to choose from. Waiting to know its price before deciding.

Looks like it's basically their version of the ShiftCam SnapGrip and others like it. They were on sale for under $30 during holiday sales.
