iPod CF Adapter on 30GB iPOD?

I've got one of the generic 30gb sd adapters. It seems to work but I can't for the life of me get the thing to close. Is there some trick to this?

Ok. I found the problem. The adapter is too thick. Is there a recommended adapter to use?

Which generation are u talking about? Lots of them came with 30GB

When I used a SD to CF adapter in my 5.5G, I removed the plastic casing in the adapter itself The slot and circuit board is what's important. That way, you shave off ~2MM which is perfect clearance to close the case completely.
