Title says it all. I was wavering between which route I went with the 3G and 3GS but I think I have it correct

2G -Standard
3G -Black
3GS -White
4 -Black
4S -White
5 -Black & Slate
5S -Gold
6 -Gold
6S -Rose Gold
7 -Matte Black

Fun challenge - remember every iPhone (and color) you've ever had

5S - White/Silver
6 - Gold
6+ (that I traded my gold 6 for after a short time) - Silver
6s/6s+ - Did not own
7 - Matte Black

4 - black
4s - white
5s - space grey
6 plus - space grey
6s plus - gold

Not that difficult

4 - Black (wanted white, it never came out for 4)
Samsung Galaxy S3 (white - came back to iOS 2 yrs later) :D
6+ - Black (wanted white, wasn't available for launch day)
7+ - Rose Gold (FINALLY, YAY) :)
 
Good memory guys. For me it was pretty easy to remember 5 onwards but before then was a bit of a challenge. I'm getting old.

Oh jeez, I've had more than one color with each iteration, but I will try to remember the first color I bought for each one.

That's tough. I never had a 2G and didn't even realize there was only a standard color...

Looks like almost everyone went the black route for 3G and white for 3GS. Iirc white wasn't even available for the launch of the 4 so black was the only option

The 4 would not matter to me as I would have gotten black either way. The white front is horrible to me.
 
I remember them all. What I can't remember is if I ever had an iPhone 3G as I was back and forth between Sprint and AT&T a few times before settling with AT&T from the 3GS onward.

I like the white front because it doesn't show dust. My MB 7 is the first black face I've owned since the 5. I remember the struggle now. My OCD kicks in hardcore trying to keep this thing dust free

cannot decide if 1. I should buy an SE, 2. if it should be space grey (reminds me sometimes of an iPhone 4) or white (my old love) 3. should wait til march 2017
