How much of a chance is there that orders with a 4-6 week estimate will actually be shipped early this week? Is there even a slight chance we'll get it friday?

There's always a chance. Heck there's even a chance that the July shipments will ship on Friday. I wouldn't count on it though.

Most likely it will not, obviously. It says it won't, so it probably won't.
More likely is it shipping before 6 weeks, but I would not expect it.

My cousin's aunt's boyfriend works at Apple, there is a big chance they will be shipped this week, he said.
This is unknown at this time but it is unlikely. Apple usually doesn't provide arbitrary delivery time frames. The estimate they gave you when you ordered is when they expected to have stock available to fulfill you order. While it's always possible that stock levels change, they are most likely going to focus on getting all 4/24-5/8 estimate orders out as quickly as possible before moving on to any of the other dates.

This is purely speculation. What position does your cousins aunts friends boyfriends brother hold within Apple? Is he a high-level employee or VP? If not, then he'd have absolutely no idea.

Intrigued because many people in customer services and stores don't know this information so he must be pretty high in the company?Wouldn't your cousin's aunt either be your aunt or your mother?
When exactly did he say this? Before they were cancelling orders (see other threads) or after the delta shipping issue?

There's a very real chance your watch won't ship until 6 more weeks, based on your order.
So why would you possibly think it would ship in 3 days?
I'm calm actually. And i'm also in this bracket.
It WILL be a bit annoying this Friday no doubt, so this thread is a precursor to that I suppose. It's not a long wait (at least in the damnation time scale

My cousin's wife's friend's sister knows a local store manager's sister's husband's friend's pet dog Fido.
I have read that if they are in the stores on the 24th, will be extremely low inventory. Why not just order online? Aren't they all shipping May at latest?
