Chances of getting a defective unit

Do you guys know the chances of getting a defective MacBook pro? Like say DOA, or Display issue, etc

I've also heard people saying that the chances of a device breaking due to it being defective goes from high and slowly decreases with time but I forgot where I read that.

I would say not very likely but there is also a chance like there is with anything in life. If its faulty return it.

Life to short to worry about this kinda stuff, if you bought a new unit check it if you happy, happy days! If your not due to a defective, return it for a replacement or money back!

Yeah. It's just something that came in mind. Haha. Especially since it's been a long time since I've upgraded. I'm getting the 16" with 32gb of ram and 1tb of storage . So happy. I'm currently still using my old 11inch 2014 4gb ram MacBook air it's awful for my workflow but for normal usage like word processing etc its still fine and going strong!!

Yep. Can't wait to watch 4k HDR series !! Like Foundation etc!!.
