Yeah I dont think it will have LTE or HSPA+. LTE for obvious reasons. HSPA+ isnt used by all carriers and in the US, ATT's HSPA+ is spotty. T-Mobile has a fast HSPA+ network but the iPhone won't be coming to them.

HSPA+ will be there. Why? Because the latest chips have HSPA+ already at the same price as previous chips. There's absolutely no extra cost to include this feature for Apple in terms of dollars, battery, CPU, space, etc.

It's like including 8MP cameras. They are readily available and cost the same as 5MP last year so unless Apple actually is intending to churn out more profit per unit, they will go with the the newer technology.

LTE is different. Today, it is a two-chip technology which affects battery life and form factor.

Zippo.

I have unlimited data with Verizon, and Verizon isn't capping/throttling 4G users. Worth it to switch from the iPhone 4 to the Droid Charge?

What do you guys think? I've owned an Android phone before, and while they are nice, I much prefer iOS. I guess I could always get an iPod touch as a substitute. I need a new iPod anyways.

I hate, hate that I can't sync my Android with my Mac easily! lol

^ Not if it's just for 4G.

Why? That's pretty much my reason for switching...and that I have unlimited data and my girlfriend needs a smart phone so I'll be giving her my iphone 4.

if you want a number, i'd say 20%< (less than 20% chance)

chips big, takes up power, new technology, not widely deployed. It is one of the most asked features and rumored about. Apple is not known to have most cutting edge but sure to work. Chips technology still has room to progress so waiting would be prudent.
