Hi all. I was wondering where the text for an app name in the settings menu is and how to change it with iFile.

For example, I'll use textPlus.

I can change the name of the app icon on the springboard by changing the line after "<key>CFBundleDisplayName</key>" or with IconRenamer.

However, textPlus has a settings key and the original name is still displayed in the settings app as "textPlus".

Any help is extremely appreciated.

EDIT: Apps such as textPlus are under Notifications. Others, such as Protecti and WinterBoard are in the main settings page. I would like to know about both, if possible.

Is there no way to do this?

I have a tweak called IconRenamer where you can do this. It's on ine of the default repos (forget which one). After installing it, just hold the icon to make it shake and then double tap it. That only changes the name on your SB, though. The app will have its original name in Settings.
