Change Apple ID of app on iPhone 4?

I transferred an app from my friend's phone to my phone, but when I wanted to update the app on my phone, it asked for my friend's Apple ID/password and not mine. How do you change the ID to mine?

You can't. The ability to do that would allow simple piracy.
