Hi,

I'm a newbie, that being said, i have a question :)

I bought an used iMac, and start using it, but I never reset everything and do a clean install, only create a new user.
Now i can't update any software because, the AppleID and the password are from previous owner. Is there a way i can change AppleID without doing a full reinstall ?

Thanks !

Are we talking App Store?
Can't you just sign out from the 'store' menu at the top?
Same works for iTunes.

That being said - I changed my Apple ID as I moved countries and although I'd changed the ID everywhere I still had random account errors with password popups. In my case it was easier to put a fresh install of ML when that was released rather than upgrade....
