Doesn't work on Windows even though my friend compiled the .ipcc file for me :( Sad day. Also wish we could just change the plist like we used to.. I want to change text!

Yes, I discovered the same thing. Used the shift key rather than cntrl-option but the windows version does the recognize the file. I had to use my wife's mac to do the job... Fortunately, you do not have to sync your entire phone into the Mac...

I am hoping that someone can tackle this logo.

Thanks,

Sheldon

Can someone make a really plain logo that says "UNC" in the font and font size that would match the rest of the top bar? I'm not sure what font size or font it is. I think Helvetica Bold maybe.

I don't know how to do the two different versions, black and etched. I tried to make one with what I think is the right font and font size, but I'm not sure. I just want UNC to blend in perfectly with the rest of the bar!

Could someone please make this?

Here's my attempt you can use for an example:

Request

If anyone could make one for the Omega watch company logo (without the text below the symbol) it would be much appreciated!

Getting Original Back...

If using the original file doesn't get your operator carrier back, rename the original IPCC file to zip, extract it, go into the payload folder, then the bundle and open the package contents, you can see the logos there and create a new file from it. Bit long winded but easier than doing a full restore.

Anyone else seeing painfully slow download speeds from the App store since doing this tweak? I've even restore my phone but it still the same. Im on a 60mb wifi connection and the speed is fine on all other apps

Also curious about that.

This is how it worked for me. I switched icons and the verizon version switched from 13.3 to 13.4. When I decided to revert back using the original file, it switched the verizon version to 13.0, not 13.3. A popup on the screen said there was a a new carrier update available and to power off and on (not reboot). After I did that, the carrier version was back to 13.3. So when you do revert back, power off and then on. Do not just reboot.

Pardon my ignorance, but can you explain that? How can you re-do a carrier update?

I tried rebooting , reverting back using the original file , and rebooting again. My original logo just wouldn't come back. Somewhere along the line something messed up. After becoming frustrated I restored my phone. That worked and then my original carrier update was installed.

Did you power off or reboot? You need to power off, not just reboot.

Tried both. Full power off is what I tried first.

When that didn't work a reboot before and after reverting as suggested a few pages back in this thread. I still think this is a cool program.

In a nutshell, you created and installed an IPCC with a lower version then your carriers current version? Doing so prompted your carriers current version update. Worth remembering, ta.

I think this might be the intent of the app. When you revert back with original file, it must automatically create the IPCC with a version lower than what you had on phone, thus forcing a carrier update when you revert.

For the record, I reverted back and had no issues...

I may go back, but I want to be sure that my signal isn't affected by this.
