I second this, as I prefer to have no carrier at all.
Much cleaner IMHO
I was wondering the same. If a thinner transparent image was used if it would help or not.

this is nifty. Is it easy to undo if I decide I don't like it?
Doesn't work on Windows even though my friend compiled the .ipcc file for meSad day. Also wish we could just change the plist like we used to.. I want to change text!
i feel like my wifi slowed down when downloading apps. i reverted back to the original carrier settings, and re-did my real carrier update

Pardon my ignorance, but can you explain that? How can you re-do a carrier update?
I am hoping that someone can tackle this logo.
Thanks,
Sheldon
If anyone could make one for the Omega watch company logo (without the text below the symbol) it would be much appreciated!
Also curious about that.

Did you power off or reboot? You need to power off, not just reboot.I tried rebooting , reverting back using the original file , and rebooting again. My original logo just wouldn't come back. Somewhere along the line something messed up. After becoming frustrated I restored my phone. That worked and then my original carrier update was installed.
This is how it worked for me. I switched icons and the verizon version switched from 13.3 to 13.4. When I decided to revert back using the original file, it switched the verizon version to 13.0, not 13.3. A popup on the screen said there was a a new carrier update available and to power off and on (not reboot). After I did that, the carrier version was back to 13.3. So when you do revert back, power off and then on. Do not just reboot.
In a nutshell, you created and installed an IPCC with a lower version then your carriers current version? Doing so prompted your carriers current version update. Worth remembering, ta.
