OK... new policy for me. I am going to keep making them as I have been.

Some people have complained that they looked too big. They wanted them to be more equal in size to the existing icons (signal, wifi, etc.). So they wanted pixel lines buffering the top and bottom.

Now I have people telling me they look too small.

So... I am going to make them as I think they are best... cropped as close as possible, no buffering with a 40px height. This is a carrier logo for goodness sake. We put them there to try to make our phone look different. To stand out. Who cares is they match the other icons in size?

Can someone please tell me how to do this. I have this image that i want to use as a carrier logo, what size it should be and what program is the best to use. I want it to be black and white, not red.

Or if someone could lend a hand, that would be awesome to. :)

Please?

I'm confused as to how you guys think that a PNG can affect signal strength. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Also, will "erase all content and settings" revert this?

Can you do this one for me please!

I am hoping that someone can tackle this logo.

Thanks,

Sheldon

A mechanical watch fan...nice! :)

You're correct. This will not affect signal strength in any way. It's replacing a stock image file for a different one. There's no coding or tampering with anything else.

I'm not sure about the erase all content and settings question.

Odd, that when you use Apple maps, the logo reverts back to the normal carrier logo. Does not do that with any other app I have.

Apple Maps is like Cydia...lol! :)

For those that have never jailbroken their phones...Cydia always displays the stock carrier logo even if the image was replaced with a custom file.

Could you make one for this. Jayhawk logo.
And Possibly remove the 'R' copyright logo and the wording to the bottom right.

On Fido here and also have issues with this. Followed the instructions to a T and no go. After reboot it still shows the old logo.

My iPhone 5 is unlocked. I thought it's unlock-related but maybe it's a fido issue.

Please update us if you find a solution or get contacted back by the app developer.

New version just released. I'll try it and report back.

EDIT: Nope. No joy. :( I'd suggest you also email the author so that he knows it's not an isolated thing with Fido users. http://uhelios.com/contact

Can anyone post up the Pacman image from the link in the OP? That would make my iPhone match my MacBook Air.

The included ones in the dmg do not work....

Maybe this? I'm only playing about but seems to have removed the white background for you. 1080p s' work is much better!
