Any chance of an etched version of the white O2 logo you done for me so I can update my NC icon? Cheers!

Here. They both had to be completely redone because I originally cropped it too close to allow room for shadow.

How so? The letters have a shadow below them just like the other indicators in the status bar. Don't see how it's weird... other than the fact that we are putting images that were never intended to be there in the first place... and that's the goal... to make our phones unique and different.

Or you can just do this... it's faster. ;)

Be sure to do all of your editing before doing the shadow (etching). Transparency, cropping, etc. Also leave enough room at the bottom for your shadow.

See the images for my recommended numbers.

EDIT: NOTE!!! Please uncheck "Allow resizing."

This is especially important if you are going back and etching logos you already did. If your originals are cropped too close at the bottom, you need to redo it with enough pixels at the bottom for the shadow. The reason I say redo the who thing is because if you allow the Drop shadow to resize, then it will increase the overall canvas to a height higher than 40px. If then resized the image back down to 40px, then when you go to use them on your phone, your etched logo will look smaller than the un-etched version.

In other words, redo your logo completely if you don't have enough room for shadow at the bottom.

It seems like I'm not the only one bothering you about the shadow. Haha. But here's what has worked for me to get the closest match to the rest of the font on the top bar.

Font: Helvetica Bold (very close, but I just tried it again, and it looks like Helvetica Neue Bold might be a perfect match)
Size: 24 (this is for Helvetica Bold; not sure if it's the same for Helvetica Neue Bold)
Positioning: with a 40 pixel height, there's a 11 pixel margin of space on the top and bottom
Shadow (for the "etched" version): top layer is white. bottom layer is black. pull the bottom layer down 2 pixels. (NOTE: the shadow does not follow the 11 pixel margin on top and bottom, so there will only be a 9 pixel margin of space on the bottom)

There is ONE problem I still have to work out. The "black" version is supposed to have some sort of slight engraved or embossed look to it. I'll work on that later.

NOTE: Used GIMP.

I will try Helvetica Neue Bold and report back. Maybe with pics.

EDIT: Helvetica Neue Bold (size: 25) is a perfect match! I figured out that the "black" version should have a shadow going 2 pixels up instead of down like the "etched" version.

Looks like your image had some garbage pixels in it that maybe show up better against the blue status bar in Mail.

Thought that at first but it looks fine and has no colored bars anywhere else no matter what color the status bar is. Only does this in the mail app. Every app I try, black or the blue status bar it looks just fine ONLY the mail.

I'm not so sure about everyone complaining of the signal dropping because of this either. Mine seems exactly the same. I think some people are just paranoid. :p

One more question.
My carrier version is Verizon 13.3
When I create that first custom ipcc profile, the CustomCarrierLogo program will create a logo and label it as version 13.4.
However, if/when I want to change the logo again and create another one, should I enter version 13.4 into the version field? Or, do I need to restore back to the original 13.3 version and just start from scratch? Thanks.

Always tell the app which version you currently have on your iPhone.
