Change contact color in Mail

I would like to change the bubble color in mail for contacts from the blue, as it doesn't fit the rest of rest of my system. I've changed a bunch of other application colors through the Resources in app contents, but have been unable to do this one. Any ideas?

That seems to be controlled by going to System Preferences> Personal> Appearance> Highlight color and changing the color there, but that will also change it anywhere else the Highlight color is used. I don't know of a way to change it on an individual basis.
