Hello guys

I've installed OpenCore 0.6.7 on my MacPro 5.1, now i have BigSur and Windows and i can choose wich OS i want.

My question is, what should i change to boot BigSur automatically, because it load Windows as first.

Can somebody help?

Regards

If RequestBootVarRouting is enabled, then OpenCore will respect the selection in System Preferences > Startup Disk. This has been addressed several times in the OpenCore thread. For the benefit of the community here, questions like this about OpenCore should be posted there.

So, what should i do?
Your Big Sur disk is grayed out because it's currently not the selection. Click the lock at the bottom of the window and you should be able to select it. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl+Enter at the OpenCore boot picker to set the selection. Windows not showing up in Startup disk is another issue.

My RequestBootVarRouting is set to "true" and I have selected the macOS Big Sur drive in System Prefs.
However, I keep having the Windows 10 drive as number 1 in the boot options. Therefore, if I am not pressing 2 continuously, I always end up in Windows as default.
Any suggestions? Thank you

Wait! I have reset the NVRam and repeated the selection in System Prefs. Now the order hasn't changed but the predefined selection has moved to n.2 (macOS disk)! SOLVED! :)
Thank you anyway!
