Change Desktop Destination?

hey, I was wondering what app/plugin/prefpane there is to have the desktop show a different folder. (Leopard Intel)

For example, instead of seeing "users/User_Name_Here/desktop" I could set the desktop to instead display "Users/User_Name_Here/Documents/Example_Folder"

Any ideas? Thanks,

Well, one thing that won't work is renaming the Desktop folder and creating a link named Desktop that points to another folder. I tried it real quick to see if it would work, but even when I renamed the Desktop folder, its items still showed up on the desktop, but it lost my settings for it.

Well thanks for trying... Anyone else out there... its getting lonely in this thread.

I use to use deviant.menu: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/10805 but it does not work with Leopard

Sorry I don’t have a solution, but just out of curiosity, why would you want to do that?
