Hello...Anyone know how to change the screen dimensions from 16:9 to 4:3 (original) on DOS games from GOG or Steam? I don't like the stretched look. I was told to alter the config file and change some things but to no avail.

This sort of mod is game specific. Have you consulted the relevant pages at PCGamingWiki.com?

I have never heard of that site. The game is Jazz Jackrabbit. Where would I look for a solution? it seems more like a Wikipedia page not solutions to issues.

Hmmm, perhaps it is an adjustment that is to be done to Dosbox itself. A judicious Internet search will likely reveal the edits necessary to the config file.

You'll have to dig into the application package and find the dosbox.conf file (might be named differently for wrapped games). Open that file in a text editor and add or modify the aspect setting.

I tried changing aspect from false to true, no use. I installed this using GOG galaxy client, maybe it has an effect?

It shouldn't have, unless the client somehow keeps redownloading the original version (which it doesn't in my experience).

But you could try the stand-alone version of the game, just to be sure.
