Did we lose the ability to change focal length from all 3 lenses while recording a video at 4k 60fps? I am pretty sure I had the ability to do that pre iOS 13.2.2.

This was one of the first things I noticed when I got my 11 Pro. Got escalated up through Apple Support to the point they requested a recording of the phone exhibiting this behavior but I’ve not heard anything back.

I think thIS predates 13.2.2, as I got my phone before that update dropped, and it was doing the same. My wife’s regular 11 does the same thing as well. Once you start recording in 4K 60 you can’t change focal length.

There are a couple reviewers online who also noted the same behavior, which leads me to believe this is a limitation of the phone/OS. I don’t recall if my X did the same, but the X also didn’t record 4K 60 in HDR.

I just checked one of the first video I recorded using the 11 Pro Max set on 4k 60fps, and I am actually zooming in and out of all 3 lenses.

There's definitely a bug I think, but good to know I am not the only one.

Hopefully this gets fixed in a future update.

IIRC this was never possible because of the high bitrate when recording 4K60. It is simbly not possible to manage all 3 camera streams at once. On all other resolutions and bitrates it is possible.
