Change Icons in Leopard?

I used CandyBar for Tiger.. but it is not supported in Leopard.

I loved upgrading to newer and fancier icons from InterfaceLIFT for my favorite programs (firefox, itunes, ichat, etc)

Is there a way to change these icons to use the customized ones?

you mean copying the image, then going to get info and paste the image on top of the old one?

if by copying the image then going get info on the app and clicking on the icon and pasting it then yes.

Just so you know-I am too waiting for candybar to get a leopard update as well.

I have downloaded a load of icons for leopard today but when I go get info on the .icns files , where you would normally copy from shows a generic "icon" icon. Any ideas??

How does the copy/paste technique work? I've been doing this:
1) Click on desired icon's Preview on GET INFO and copy
2) Click on destination icon's preview on GET INFO and paste

But nothing happens. :B
What am I doing wrong? :B Am I supposed to install anything? :S

candybar is doing an update with pixadex to be bundled together. as per the dev blog. ver#3 looks to be fab!

I'm wondering how to change icons on leopard as well. I've put all applications in six folders on right side of dock (called media/applications/etc) so they fan out when I click them. Then once their opened, they show on the left side of dock.

It looks SUPER clean and nice (friends idea), but I want to change the icon on each folder, and all the tutorials for OSX don't work.
