Resolved Change iPhone's IMEI ?

Is there a Cydia extension that changes my iPhone IMEI to any other phone moddel ?
My problem is that I use a Canadian prepaid plan from rogers called "Socialite 20" that includes unlimited internet acces, but not for smartphones, only java-based feature phones.
I am aware that I won't be able to use huge amounts of data, but some emergency data if I am out of wifi would be nice.

No, the IMEI will ID it as an iPhone every time it connects to a tower.

You would have to hack the baseband, so basically, no, it's not happening. It's hard enough just finding software unlocks let alone something that modifies the baseband that heavily.

I dont know or ever heard of a way to change the IMEI in an iphone besides the original iphone 2G.
So besides of it beeing illegal there isnt a tool to do it either.
