I have read around that it is best for the Lithium Polymer batteries in the MacBook if you don't let it get below 20% and always charge it by then.

    1- Is that true?
2- If so, is there a way to make the low battery alerts appear at 20%?

What do you me by "best for the Lithium Polymer batteries in the MacBook"? Are you trying to replace the main battery inside the MacBook?

I mean the one that comes by default in any MacBook, didn't mean to confuse you.
What I'm trying to do is make the alerts appear on a specific %, which is 20%.

Okay, I now see what you are asking. There is no way that I am aware of to change that.

Thanks, there was an app called Low Battery Saver but it's been taken off the App Store.

Yeah, I'm looking for an alternative, if there is any.
Maybe there's a way to do it by making a plist file or something? (I'm new to MacBooks and OS X)
