Running OS X 10.5 here with a 16:9 monitor. I want to play an old game which doesn't support widescreen, and renders very badly when forced to run in widescreen.

I know I can force OS X to run at something like 800x600 in Display Prefs, but then it get stretched to fill the screen. Is there any way I can set a 4:3 resolution and then stop OS X from filling to screen (so I get a letterboxed effect instead?)
