Change Qwerty-Keyboard to Qwertz-Layout on MacBook Pro Mid 2015?

Hi folks,
If I get a spare Qwertz-Keyboard for my US MacBook Pro Mid 2015? Would it be possible to replace just the plasticcaps of the keyboard and alter the Keyboardsettings to Qwertz?! I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to transform my US-MacBook Pro to a German one.

From what I've read, the keycaps on the current MB & MBp can't be safely removed without permanent damage.

The macOS does, on the other hand, have the builtin ability to switch logical keyboard layouts.
