Change the sound of Notifications?

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer.

Every time I get an iMessage, I get a notification sound in my Mac. the sound is the default sound of WhatsApp messages. Is there a way I can change the sounds of notifications in my Mac, so that they match the sounds of how i have them set up in my iPhone? (for Mail, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, etc)
