change wake from sleep buttons

i have my mac in my bed room and i can actually just set it to sleep instead switching on and off every day, the problem is that my cat during the night some times walk on keyboard waking up my mac and me

is an iMac

is it possible to wake it from sleep only pressing the power button?

Flip the keyboard over unless you have a Mac Book or Mac Book Pro.

Lay a sheet of aluminum foil over the keyboard. Most cats don't like walking on foil.

You can also lay down foil around the computer, over the entire desk area. Then the cat will learn not to go there.

I understand you have an iMac, so you could get a Bluetooth keyboard that you can turn off if not in use or you could then change the Bluetooth settings so that it's not allowed to wake the computer from sleep (at least I saw that setting somewhere)

Personally, I would put the cat outside, but this will work too.
