Hi all,
I’m running all the latest versions of iOS and Catalina. Since about early December, after an update for the Mac music app, I have been unable to sync changed album art. By “changed”, I mean that there is art already embedded into an album’s metadata, and when I decide I want to change it to say, a higher quality image, I can get the higher quality image to change on my Mac, but when I sync my iPhone XS to reflect the change, the old art remains on my XS as if I never changed it on my Mac.
I have been in touch with Apple over this for over a month and the man I spoke to said he believes there is an issue with a “skew database” or something of the sort that is not changing for some reason. I have tried to restore my phone and sync to a different iTunes library and the issue persists.
Does anyone know of any other troubleshooting I can do? I am stuck staring at low quality images when I have way better quality copies that I am unable to use.

Thank you.
